A Look At Sean Wotherspoon’s atmos x ASICS GEL-Lyte III

I know we just talked about fire Asia Exclusive Sneakers yesterday, but Sean Wotherspoon’s ASICS GEL-Lyte III with atmos deserves its own article.

Launched in late June 2020, the GEL-Lyte III was the feature of a colorful apparel collection by atmos Japan. There’s a lot to unpack about these kicks, so buckle up as we break down to you why they are so great.

When you first lay eyes upon the GEL-Lyte III, there’s two things you’ll definitely not miss: the colors and the texture. The multicolored corduroy panels are very on-brand to the Sean Wotherspoon style.

Don’t let the mismatched uppers distract you, however, from the fact that there’s a surprise at the heel: a tear-away reveal. On the left we have the atmos branding, while the right features Wotherspoon’s peace logo.

Here comes the best part: these kicks are highly customizable with all the detachable ASICS Tiger Stripe it comes with (see the top gif for all color options!). If that’s still not enough, you can switch between 3 sets of laces and extra branded patches.

Last but not least, Wotherspoon makes sure that even the sole design won’t disappoint. They are coated by multi-colored outsoles to give the kicks the perfect finish.
